Social Responsibility Takeaways from the 4th Annual Intuit Trans+ SummitThe 4th annual Intuit Trans+ Summit shined a light on intersectional transgender and nonbinary experiences for the tech community at large. Written by Intuit Blog team Published Mar 31, 2023 - [Updated Apr 11, 2023] 1 min read Over the past few years, diversity has been front and center for many corporations. However, that’s not enough–diversity can’t stand on its own. At Intuit, we continue to strive for a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce that empowers employees–both in and outside of Intuit, who identify as transgender or nonbinary. Held on March 14, 2023, the 4th annual Intuit Trans+ Summit shined a light on intersectional transgender and nonbinary experiences for the tech community at large. By understanding the impact of other identities, such as race, age and even military status, on trans+ people, their individual experiences are brought to life. From there, you can see and elevate the whole person. Like everybody, trans and nonbinary people seek safety and acceptance. When people feel accepted, they’re more productive, motivated, and engaged. This full-day of sessions offered attendees the unique opportunity to learn, share, and connect with members of the transgender+ community and allies from all over the world. Those learnings are now available to everyone in the Trans+ Futures zine. The full zine is available below.
