  • A minimum fixed monthly salary of $22,500. Overseas foreign professionals must have received their last salary within six months prior to their application.

You do not qualify for the PEP if you fall into any of the following categories:

  • An Employment Pass holder sponsored by a company.
  • A freelancer or an individual planning to work on a freelance basis.
  • A business owner in an ACRA-registered company, including sole proprietors, partners, shareholders, or cases where a director is also a shareholder.
  • A journalist, editor, sub-editor, or producer.

3. Overseas networks and expertise pass (ONE Pass)

The ONE Pass is an individualised pass designed for exceptional talent across various industries.

Eligibility criteria for the ONE Pass

Candidates are assessed on a case-by-case basis. To qualify, for the ONE Pass, you typically need:

  • A previous minimum monthly salary of $30,000, which you’ll continue to earn while in Singapore.
  • Employment with a well-established Singaporean company.

4. Entrepass

The EntrePass enables qualified foreign entrepreneurs to initiate and manage a business in Singapore, provided it is either venture-backed or incorporates innovative technologies.

Eligibility criteria for the ONE Pass

You can submit an EntrePass application if you fulfill these two requirements:

  1. You have already initiated or plan to establish a private limited company registered with ACRA, which is either venture-backed or involved in innovative technologies.
    • If it’s registered, the company should be less than 6 months old when you apply.
    • If it’s not registered, you can do so after receiving the application outcome.
  2. You meet one or more of the innovative criteria as an entrepreneur, innovator, or investor as listed below. You are not required to satisfy all the criteria for each respective profile, but possessing more qualifications would enhance your application.

5. Tech.Pass

Tech.Pass is a visa that enables accomplished tech entrepreneurs, leaders, or technical experts from across the globe to come to Singapore and engage in pioneering and groundbreaking innovations.

Eligibility Criteria for a Tech.Pass

To qualify for the pass, candidates must meet any two of the following criteria:

  1. Possess a last received fixed monthly income (in the past year) of at least S$22,5002.
  2. Accumulate a minimum of five years of experience in a prominent position within a tech firm with a valuation/market cap of at least US$500 million or having secured a minimum of US$30 million in funding.
  3. Amass a minimum of five years of experience in a prominent role related to the development of a tech product that boasts a user base of at least 100,000 active monthly users or generates annual revenue of at least US$100 million.

 

6. S Pass

The S Pass is intended for mid-skilled workers in various industries (Associate Professionals and Technicians (APTs)) who may not meet the EP criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for an S Pass

To be eligible for an S Pass, you typically need:

  • A job offer in Singapore.
  • A minimum monthly salary requirement of $3,150. Note that salary expectations increase progressively based on your age. Individuals in their mid-40s may require a minimum salary of $4,650.
